Currently, we are seeking professionals to serve as certified nursing assistants and personal support workers.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Seeking a compassionate and qualified nursing assistant to help with the patient’s daily needs. You should possess a great deal of patience and be detail-oriented. Some responsibilities will include:

Changing bedding and linens
Provide daily hygienic grooming for patients, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, hair-brushing and more
Assist patients during mealtime
Help with bathroom duties
Stick to patient’s prescribed physical plans including exercising and mobilization efforts
Take vital signs routinely, and record bodily functions and eating habits
Serve as emotional support for both patient and patient’s loved ones
Aid in patient transportation and mobility, i.e. help with walkers, wheelchairs, etc.
Record inventory
Follow all provincial and federal mandates of standards and procedures

Requirements include:

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Province-approved Nursing Assistant certification
Previous experience in nursing facilities
Sufficient medical knowledge in equipment and medications
Computer Skills
Be able to life 25 pounds and stay on feet for extended periods of time

Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Seeking PSW’s that are caring and excel in communication. Some responsibilities will include:

Observing and evaluating patient’s needs and report to supervisor if a revised care plan is necessary
Tend to the individual needs of the patient and household, such as light cleaning, meal-preparation, etc.
Assist in all mobile efforts such as walking, wheelchair help
Bedside care

Requirements include:

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Province-approved Support Worker certification
Previous experience as a PSW preferred
Sufficient medical knowledge in equipment and medications
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Be able to lift 25lbs and stay on feet for extended periods of time

Housekeeping/Cleaner

Seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented housekeeper/cleaner. You should possess a great deal of time management and organization . Some responsibilities will include:

Performs cleaning and sanitation activities for public and employee areas
Cleans building floors, furniture, fixtures and any equipment
Services, cleans, and provides supplies to restrooms
Practices safe work procedures and health and safety policies ensuring a safe and hazard free environment
Reports any maintenance or safety issues

Requirements include:

Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Be able to lift 25lbs and stay on feet for extended periods of time
